For the second year, the Giulio Ferrari Trentodoc Riserva del Fondatore 2005<\/strong> is the sparkling wine that received the highest score in the competition organised by Glass of Bubbly<\/strong>, an online site dedicated to news in the world of Champagne and sparkling wines, from the most prestigious awards in the sector to tastings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Glass of Bubbly Awards receive nominations from all over the world, allowing producers to compare themselves internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition differs from all others in the way the wines are judged: not only are gold and silver medals awarded, but also 18 significant – and for the consumer, interesting and understandable – categories are defined, such as ‘Classic and Elegant’, ‘Gastronomic’, ‘Hint of Spice’, ‘Meditation’, ‘Oak and Toast’ and many others, within which wines are awarded based on their characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prizes for each category are awarded to the sparkling wine with the highest score, while the prize for ‘World’s finest glass of bubbly’ – awarded once again this year to the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2005 – is given to the sparkling wine that received the highest score overall: a result that once again places the Giulio Ferrari at the pinnacle of sparkling wine at an international level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
