The jury of the fourth edition of the award sponsored by Ferrari Trento has named the Wall Street Journal the foreign newspaper that has best and most creatively portrayed everything beautiful, tasteful, and well-made that Italy can offer.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Wall Street Journal Magazine <\/em>blew away the competition with a reportage signed by Jay Cheshes that presented the Anna Tasca Lanza cooking school, which is located right at the heart of Sicily and has become a real point of reference and source of inspiration for several famous American chefs thanks to the strongly hinged approach on the promotion of local traditions. The article was first published in June 2016 with the title \u201cA Slice of Sicilian\u201d, and has seduced the jury in particular for \u201cthe quality of its content, the originality in the choice of a topic that combines both tradition and modernity, and the beauty of its pictures\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The award will be handed over to a representative of the magazine in a ceremony scheduled for June 12 in Milan, during an event hosted by <strong>Duilio Giammaria<\/strong> that will also feature the presentation of the two other Ferrari Press Awards, the \u201cTitle of the Year\u201d and \u201cCover of the Year\u201d awards. <strong>Il Giornale<\/strong>, <strong>Avvenire<\/strong>, <strong>Il Tempo<\/strong>, <strong>Il Messaggero<\/strong> and <strong>Il Piccolo<\/strong> will compete for \u201c<strong>Title of the Year<\/strong>\u201d; while for \u201c<strong>Cover of the Year<\/strong>\u201d the contestants are <strong>Famiglia Cristiana<\/strong>, <strong>Internazionale<\/strong>, <strong>Venerd\u00ec di Repubblica<\/strong> and <strong>Panorama <\/strong>(with two separate covers). The prize at stake for both awards consists of 1,000 bottles of Ferrari Brut Trentodoc.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the \u201cTitle of the Year\u201d and \u201cCover of the Year\u201d awards celebrate their 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, reaching a milestone that will be discussed during a conference featuring the first two winners of the awards, <strong>Giulio Anselmi<\/strong>, the then director of La Stampa and current president of Ansa, and <strong>Daniela Hamaui<\/strong>, at the time director of L\u2019Espresso and now chief editor of <em>Vanity Fair<\/em>, who will be joined on stage by <strong>Ferruccio de Bortoli<\/strong>, member of the \u00a0Ferrari Awards jury starting this year\u2019s edition, former director of <em>Corriere della Sera<\/em> and <em>Il Sole 24 Ore <\/em>and one of the current best-selling authors with his book <em>Poteri forti (o quasi).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The winner of this year\u2019s \u201cItalian Art of Living \u2013 Article of the Year\u201d Ferrari Press Award is the Wall Street Journal Magazine.
