{"id":92451,"date":"2020-06-10T08:19:12","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T08:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ferraritrento.com\/ferrari-is-the-strongest-wine-brand-in-italy\/"},"modified":"2026-05-20T09:49:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T09:49:15","slug":"ferrari-is-the-strongest-wine-brand-in-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ferraritrento.com\/en\/ferrari-is-the-strongest-wine-brand-in-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrari is the strongest wine brand in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Lunelli Group\u2019s Trento-based winery takes top spot in <em>Wine Intelligence<\/em>\u2019s \u201cGlobal Wine Brand Power Index\u201d ratings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <em>Brand Awareness Index <\/em>of 100 and an overall <em>Brand Power Index <\/em>of 99 crown Ferrari as Italy\u2019s strongest wine brand: so states <em>Wine Intelligence<\/em>, the British market research and consultancy company specialising in the world of wine, in its study under the title <strong><em>Italy Wine Landscape 2020<\/em><\/strong>, carried out in March 2020 among regular consumers of wine.<\/p>\n<p>Within this wide-ranging report on the country\u2019s wine market and drinking habits, a section is in fact devoted to the strength of the various brands: the <strong>\u201cGlobal Wine Brand Power Index\u201d<\/strong>. Ferrari came out top in Italy, with 100 points \u00a0in terms of <strong>\u201c<em>Brand Awareness<\/em>\u201d<\/strong>, 98 in the <strong>\u201c<em>Brand<\/em> <em>Purchase Index<\/em>\u201d<\/strong>, which measures frequency and intention in purchasing, and 99 in the <strong>\u201c<em>Connection Index<\/em>\u201d<\/strong>, the degree of connection with consumers, evaluated according to their affinity with the values of the brand\u00a0 and their likelihood of recommending it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pierpaolo Penco<\/strong>, <em>Italy Country Manager<\/em> for <em>Wine Intelligence<\/em>, commented: \u201cFerrari ranks notably higher than all the other brands, always performing in the top three as regards all the indicators of brand health. The results contained in our recent analysis of the Italian market confirm what was already clear 2 years ago, when our previous report, <em>Sparkling Wines in Italy 2018<\/em>, was published.
