Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2016 awarded Best Sparkling Wine by La Guida ai 1000 Vini d’Italia by L’Espresso
The Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2016 has been awarded Best Sparkling Wine, earning the prestigious “110 cum laude”, the highest recognition in L’Espresso’s 2025 Guide to 1000 Vini d’Italia, curated by Luca Gardini.
This double success once again highlights the excellence of Ferrari Trento’s Trentodoc, a true expression of Trentino’s vocation for mountain sparkling wines.
Born from an extraordinary vintage, Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2016 blends Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from high-altitude vineyards. Its extended aging on the lees brings elegance, aromatic complexity, and vibrant freshness.
The award was presented on October 23 at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, during the official launch of the Guide. Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of Ferrari Trento, accepted the accolade and also took part in the “Sapori d’Italia” talk — a journey through taste as a symbol of national identity —alongside Massimo Bottura, Francesco Lollobrigida, Dominga Cottarella, and Iginio Massari.
Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.
It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
