Matteo Lunelli awarded the Golden Helmet, il Casco d’Oro, by Autosprint

A historic event for Autosprint magazine, which rewards the most prominent figures in the world of motoring with its “Golden Helmets” and which, again this year, has brought together the most influential figures in the sector.

Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of Ferrari Trento, for the third year the official toast of Formula1®, was among this year’s awardees as one of the leading figures in the motorsport world. Alongside him were Giovanni Malagò, President of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, former president of Ferrari, Flavio Briatore, F1® brand ambassador, Giancarlo Fisichella, historic F1® driver, Miki Biasion, great Rally champion, and many others.

The Golden Helmets is a tradition that is now more than well-established: the first edition of the award dates back to 1966, when it was awarded to Jack Brabham and Nanni Galli. Since then, the list of award-winning personalities has grown longer and longer, including names such as Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, Michele Alboreto, Riccardo Patrese, Mario Andretti, Jean Todt, Nico Rosberg, Sébastien Loeb, Emerson Fittipaldi, Mika Häkkinen, Alex Zanardi and many others.

On stage at the award ceremony, Matteo Lunelli said: “The Golden Helmet is an acknowledgement of the bond Ferrari Trento has with sport, and with Formula 1® in particular. We are very proud to be part of this world characterised by passion and striving for excellence, values which we fully share”.

Ferrari Trento’s partnership with Formula 1®, now in its third season and already renewed for another two years, represents an incredible opportunity to communicate the brand’s values to a vast audience of fans all over the world and to bring that touch of Italian style to the podium of every Grand Prix, but also to all the hospitality areas of the circuits.

Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.

It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
