At Opera Wine, Ferrari proves to be one of the 100 best Italian wines once again
Again this year – as has happened at every edition since its foundation in 2012 – the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator awarded Ferrari as one of the 100 best Italian wines. To be precise, 103 producers will be present at the exclusive event that, as every year, will take place the day before of the opening of Vinitaly at Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona.
This appointment gives the opportunity to specialized operators from all over the world of discovering the 100 best wines selected by Wine Spectator experts, a real authority in this field. To draw up the final ranking, the team tastes more than 2,000 wines. This ranking remarkably represents a journey through the Italian wine excellences and pays homage to the uniqueness of the territories and to their own different features.
Although the ranking – revealed in advance at Wine2Wine on November 27th – had big changes like the elimination of some historical wineries, Ferrari is one of the indisputable participations also for 2019 Opera Wine edition, that opted for Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva 2008 Trentodoc, the elegant Pinot Nero of rare finesse, our first and only Blanc des Noirs.
