Ferrari Trento ‘adopts’ the Istituto Alberghiero Trentino in Levico Terme

The Gruppo Lunelli Winery joins the Altagamma Foundation project “Adopt a School” with a joint pathway which aims to train hospitality professionals

Ferrari Trento joins the Fondazione Altagamma ‘Adopt a School’ project thanks to its partnership with the Istituto Alberghiero Trentino di Levico Terme, thus confirming its commitment to the territory not only environmentally, but socially.

The collaboration, aimed at the “Room” and “Reception” areas, both featured in the last 3 years and in the higher education at the school, aims to enhance the potential of the students, strengthening their professional preparation and providing them with further tools to become the next players in the hospitality sector.

The intention of the ‘Adopt a School’ project, supported by 23 companies nationwide, is to create an expert relationship between technical-professional schools and companies, enriching training and at the same time responding to the needs of brands, which today struggle to find the talent in the labour market that is fundamental to their development.

Ferrari Trento’s decision to focus on the world of catering and hoteliers stems from the in-depth study of the art of hospitality conducted since 2016, in collaboration with major players in the world of Italian and international haute cuisine, such as the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Identità Golose. The Istituto Alberghiero Trentino di Levico Terme has been selected as a school of excellence on the national scene, thanks also to the campaign launched with the Ospitalia brand.

The partnership began on the 27th of February with the presentation of an educational proposal that will involve 20 speakers, including experts in the sector and Gruppo Lunelli managers, for a total of about 100 hours of training between lectures and field experiences. There will be in-depth studies on the world of wine and catering, management, communication, marketing, as well as visits to the winery and vineyards, and internship opportunities in the Gruppo Lunelli’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Locanda Margon, and at the Ferrari Spazio Bollicine.

Matteo Lunelli, President of Ferrari Trento as well as Fondazione Altagamma, said: “Hospitality is a theme that is perfectly consistent with the values of the Ferrari brand. Italy is the country par excellence of hospitality and hospitality is an important feature of the Italian art of living of which Ferrari Trento wants to be an ambassador. This is why we have decided to support the training and growth of young professionals who will be able to contribute to the development of tourism and our food and wine in Trentino, in Italy and worldwide. For us it also means investing in the future of the country and continuing along the path that sees us committed to the promotion and enhancement of our territory, starting from its most precious resource, which is young people’.

Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.

It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
