Ferrari Trento has received important recognition at The WineHunter Awards, the prestigious accolades presented by the Merano WineFestival jury to outstanding wines from Italy and around the world. Four Ferrari Trento labels received awards, once again confirming the quality and expressive diversity of the Trentino-based winery’s mountain sparkling wines.
The prestigious Platinum award, reserved for wines scoring between 96 and 100 points, was presented to Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2016 and Ferrari Perlé 2002. The former is one of the most refined and distinctive expressions of the Ferrari style, with ageing in wood enhancing its structure. Ferrari Perlé 2002, meanwhile, is part of the “Archivio di Famiglia” project, created to showcase historic vintages preserved in the Ferrari cellars and tell the story of their remarkable longevity and ability to retain elegance, complexity and identity over time.
The Gold award, presented to wines scoring between 93 and 96 points, was given to Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva 2018 and Ferrari Perlé Zero 2018. Perlé Nero Riserva is the only Trentodoc in the Ferrari range made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, a choice that defines its distinctive character, structure and complexity. Ferrari Perlé Zero, meanwhile, is the only zero-dosage Trentodoc in the Ferrari range, a characteristic that enhances the pure expression of Chardonnay, resulting in remarkable freshness and precision on the palate.
These awards reaffirm the excellence of Ferrari Trento’s production, reflecting a constant pursuit of quality and a deep connection to its territory.
