A new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine opens at Rome Fiumicino Airport

Rome, 6 July 2026 – Ferrari Trento has inaugurated a new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome Fiumicino, choosing Italy's leading airport hub for a concept dedicated to an international, sophisticated clientele with an appreciation for quality. Located above the Italian and international luxury boutiques in the Extra-Schengen area of Terminal 3, the new venue has been developed in partnership with Areas MyChef to offer travellers a premium hospitality experience, combining the world of mountain sparkling wines with the very best of Italian culinary tradition.
The project embodies the Ferrari identity in every respect. The interiors reflect the brand's visual codes, beginning with the iconic black and white colour palette that has long symbolised Ferrari Trento, within a contemporary Made in Italy design enhanced by Molteni furnishings.
The new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine introduces an innovative model to the airport dining landscape, born from the collaboration of three outstanding figures in Italian gastronomy. The talent of Michelin-starred Chef Edoardo Fumagalli, from Locanda Margon, part of the Lunelli Group, joins forces with Michelangelo Citino, Executive Chef of Areas MyChef and recipient of the Best Airport Chef Award, while the breakfast offering bears the signature of celebrated master pastry Chef Iginio Massari.
The experience is made even more distinctive by attentive table service and a carefully curated food and wine pairing programme, designed to create a harmonious dialogue between the cuisine and Ferrari's Trentodoc sparkling wines.
The menu offers cuisine deeply rooted in the regions of Italy and centred on the finest local ingredients. Carefully selected raw materials form the starting point for a gastronomic journey through Italian tradition, with a particular focus on the culinary heritage of Lazio. Alongside salads and the classic Roman supplì, guests can enjoy a complete dining experience featuring a selection of starters, pasta dishes, main courses and desserts.
For this new opening, Chef Edoardo Fumagalli has created the Tegamini collection: delicious focaccias that can be enjoyed either as a quick meal or served in slices alongside an aperitivo. The Tegamini celebrate the Italian—and especially Roman—culinary tradition, reinterpreted using premium ingredients. Highlights include Pecorino Romano PDO, Porchetta di Ariccia PGI, and artichokes, all iconic ingredients of Roman cuisine. Soft and fragrant, the Tegamini are served on specially designed soapstone and brass plates created exclusively by Navarini 1958, the historic Trentino artisan company specialising in copper craftsmanship, to keep the baked focaccia warm.
Guests can also enjoy an engaging culinary experience thanks to a large window overlooking the kitchen, offering a direct view of the brigade at work.
The new venue provides the opportunity to enjoy the entire Ferrari Trento collection by the glass, including prestigious Riserve, allowing travellers to discover and fully appreciate the richness and diversity of the House's Trentodoc sparkling wines. Other labels from the Gruppo Lunelli are also available, including still wines from Tenute Lunelli in Trentino, Tuscany and Umbria, Segnana grappas, and Tassoni soft drinks, served in an appealing selection of cocktails, including alcohol-free options. The offering is completed by a rotating selection of other Italian wines.

"Ferrari Spazio Bollicine at Fiumicino aims to introduce new ways of enjoying Ferrari Trentodoc sparkling wines and to transform time spent at the airport into a gourmet break that showcases the beauty and excellence of our country," said Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of Ferrari Trento. "Being present in a globally significant hub such as Fiumicino allows us to connect with millions of travellers from around the world, offering them an authentic experience of our mountain sparkling wines inspired by the Italian art of living."
"We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Lunelli family and Ferrari Trento, a partner with whom we have built a strong relationship over the years based on shared values, mutual trust and a common commitment to embracing new growth opportunities," commented Sergio Castelli, Chief Executive Officer of Areas Italia. "The opening of this new location, and our return to Fiumicino Airport, represents a significant milestone that confirms the quality of the work we have accomplished together and the ability of our partnership to evolve successfully.
Being present at one of Europe's leading airport hubs strengthens our position in a setting defined by excellence and international appeal, allowing us to offer millions of travellers an experience that meets the highest expectations. This new project is the result of a shared vision and a collaboration that continues to create value for both companies. We look to the future with enthusiasm, confident that together with Ferrari Trento we will achieve new and ambitious milestones."

"Ferrari Spazio Bollicine represents the very essence of Italian excellence: a distinctive concept that brings together outstanding wines, signature cuisine and premium hospitality," said Marilena Blasi, Chief Commercial Officer of Aeroporti di Roma. "With this opening, we are further enhancing the premium offering at Leonardo da Vinci Airport, reaffirming our commitment to promoting Made in Italy while providing passengers with an increasingly distinctive travel experience."
Fiumicino was the first airport to host a Ferrari Spazio Bollicine, with the original venue opening in 2013. The concept was an immediate success and was subsequently introduced at Milan's Malpensa and Linate airports. Following the reconfiguration of the airport's commercial spaces, Ferrari Spazio Bollicine has now returned to Rome in a prime location within the airport's most exclusive area, in a larger setting designed to express the very best of Italian hospitality.
