Ferrari Trento confirms its place among the world’s leading sparkling wine producers

Ferrari Trento has been named “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC), the world’s leading competition dedicated exclusively to sparkling wines. This marks the ninth time Ferrari Trento has received the prestigious accolade, and the sixth consecutive year, further confirming the consistent quality that continues to earn the winery recognition at the highest level of international wine criticism.
The title was awarded following nine Gold medals won by Ferrari Trento in the 2026 edition, spanning a selection of Trentodoc wines that reflects the full breadth of the Ferrari portfolio: from some of the House’s most iconic expressions, including Ferrari Brut, Ferrari Rosé and the Maximum range, to its great Riserva wines, such as Ferrari Perlé, Ferrari Perlé Nero and Ferrari Riserva Lunelli. The nine Gold medals recognise both Ferrari Trento’s ability to express the potential of its wines over time and the distinctive character of the different expressions within the House.
The result is testament not only to the excellence of individual wines, but also to Ferrari Trento’s ability to express a consistent vision of quality across a diverse portfolio, united by a distinctive style and rooted in the unique character of mountain viticulture in Trentino.

This year, the competition judged 1,000 sparkling wines from 18 countries. Italy once again topped the medal table, with 87 Gold and 137 Silver medals, ahead of France. Trentodoc made a significant contribution to Italy’s success, with 35 Gold and 44 Silver medals, making it the world’s most awarded sparkling wine appellation.

“Six years, six wins — and nine in total. Ferrari Trento now collects Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year titles the way others collect corks,” says Tom Stevenson, Founder and Chairman of the CSWWC.

The “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” title will be officially presented during the CSWWC Awards Dinner on 29 October 2026 at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London, where the Best in Class and Trophy winners will also be announced.
