Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2012 is ‘Best Sparkling Wine’ for the Falstaff Wein Guide Italia

The uniqueness of Ferrari Trento’s wines is once again rewarded by the best not only Italian but also international wine guides: the presentation of the Falstaff Wein Guide Italia, a lifestyle and food and wine guide for Austria, Germany and Switzerland, saw the Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2012, the winery’s iconic Trentino label, awarded the prize of “Best Sparkling Wine.

During the event, held on 20 November at the Commerzbank am Jungfernstieg in Hamburg, five other Ferrari Trentodocs were awarded, including the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2012, rated with the excellent score of 96/100.

The Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2012 also stands out for being once again the champion of Italian Metodo Classico rosé sparkling wines, capable of winning the challenge with time, having been rated 98/100 by Othmar Kiem, editor-in-chief Falstaff Italia, and Simon Staffler, editor and tasting manager for the prestigious German magazine.

Produced only in the best vintages, this Rosé surprises with its intensity and richness, expressing fresh citrus and floral scents, which translate into a fresh and delicate, yet very complex palate. The resulting perfect balance between aromaticity and taste ensures that all the wine’s components are exalted, making it extremely refined and unique.

Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.

It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
