Giulio Ferrari 2005 is the ‘World’s finest glass of bubbly’ at the Glass of Bubbly Awards

For the second year, the Giulio Ferrari Trentodoc Riserva del Fondatore 2005 is the sparkling wine that received the highest score in the competition organised by Glass of Bubbly, an online site dedicated to news in the world of Champagne and sparkling wines, from the most prestigious awards in the sector to tastings.

The Glass of Bubbly Awards receive nominations from all over the world, allowing producers to compare themselves internationally.

The competition differs from all others in the way the wines are judged: not only are gold and silver medals awarded, but also 18 significant - and for the consumer, interesting and understandable - categories are defined, such as 'Classic and Elegant', 'Gastronomic', 'Hint of Spice', 'Meditation', 'Oak and Toast' and many others, within which wines are awarded based on their characteristics.

The prizes for each category are awarded to the sparkling wine with the highest score, while the prize for 'World's finest glass of bubbly' - awarded once again this year to the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2005 - is given to the sparkling wine that received the highest score overall: a result that once again places the Giulio Ferrari at the pinnacle of sparkling wine at an international level.
