Ferrari Trento starts the Formula 1® season with a charity auction in favour of Ukraine

The entire proceeds from the sale of the Ferrari F1® Podium Jeroboams, autographed by the winning drivers, will be donated to help alleviate the emergency in Ukraine

After an extremely exciting first year in the role, Ferrari Trento is ready to take its place once again on the podium as the official toast of Formula 1®. The winery has decided to inaugurate the season by renewing its social commitment in the world of sport, with a project that will involve all the Grands Prix in 2022. Absolutely unique bottles – in the shape of Ferrari F1® Podium Jeroboams autographed by the winning drivers – will in fact be put up for auction on F1 Authentics, the official website of F1® memorabilia that is accessible to enthusiasts all over the world, and the entire proceeds will be donated to charity.

The initiative, organised in collaboration with Formula 1®, already had a test run at the end of last year’s championship in favour of Keep Fighting Foundation, created to celebrate the indomitable spirit of champion driver Michael Schumacher and encourage all of us to “never give up”. Given the dramatic world scenario in which the new season is beginning, Ferrari Trento, Keep Fighting Foundation and Formula 1® have decided to donate the funds that are raised in the next few auctions to the emergency in Ukraine, through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Motor racing enthusiasts and collectors alike will thus be able to combine their support for an important cause with the chance to win some absolutely unique items of Formula 1® history. The bottles that Ferrari Trento has donated to be sold at auction are – like all those on the various podia – a special edition, exclusively in 3-litre bottles, with the circuit design on the label and the name “Ferrari” on the side. They contain the Company’s most representative Trentodoc wine, a Blanc de Blancs made entirely from Chardonnay grapes from the 2015 vintage cultivated on the slopes of the mountains of Trentino, to which maturation on its lees for over five years has conferred great elegance and complexity.

The first auction is online from 14th to 23rd March, with for sale 3 Jeroboams signed by the winners of the GPs in Portugal, Spain and Austria during the 2021 season; the bottles from the podia in Hungary, Belgium and Brazil will, on the other hand, be available from 20th to 30th March.

Starting with the Australian Grand Prix on 10th April, and for the rest of the year, the bottle autographed by the 3 drivers on the podium of each race will be available – again on the platform of F1 Authentics – on the days immediately following the event.

These are the details of the first three bottles being auctioned:

– Heineken Grande Prémio de Portugal: 1 Lewis Hamilton, 2 Max Verstappen, 3 Vallteri Bottas

– Aramco Gran Premio de España: 1 Lewis Hamilton, 2 Max Verstappen, 3 Vallteri Bottas

– BWT Großer Preis der Steiermark in Austria: 1 Max Verstappen, 2 Lewis Hamilton, 3 Vallteri Bottas

The second auction will feature the following circuits and drivers:

– Rolex Belgian Grand Prix: 1 Max Verstappen 2 George Russell 3 Lewis Hamilton

– Heineken Grande Prêmio de São Paulo: 1 Lewis Hamilton, 2 Max Verstappen, 3 Vallteri Bottas
